Description

The name might suggest that this gin is from Yorkshire, but it infact comes from the Summerhall Distillery, in Edinburgh.

The first distillery to be established there, for over 150 years, and actually on the site of an old animal hospital!

This gin is based on an original Bombay recipe.

Two friends, Marcus Pickering and Matthew Gammel, are the founders.

There are nine botanicals, in Pickerings. They include;

juniper, cardamom, coriander, fennel, angelica, lemon, anise, cloves and lime.

Grain spirit is used as the base, and the botanicals are added, and heated gently.

Pickerings recommend their gin be served with a premium tonic and a pink grapefruit garnish.
