The Lakes Sloe Gin Liqueur

Description

The Lakes gin is the only gin, distilled in The Lake District, with true provenance.

The distillery is close to Bassenthwaite Lake, in an area of outstanding beauty, and was created by Paul Currie, who co-founded the award winning Arran distillery.

The water used is from the famous River Derwent, with its’ source located high up in the fells.

Juniper foraged from the surrounding Lake District, is at the heart of this gin, along with bilberry, heather, hawthorn, mint and meadowsweet. These join more traditional gin botanicals, from further afield, including Balkan juniper, coriander seeds, orris, angelica, liquorice, lemon and orange plus the addition of Sloe berries to create this amazing artisan gin liqueur.

Enjoy neat over ice or with a slice of orange and a lemon tonic water.
