This amazing Gin comes from the Puddingstone Distillery which is named after a rare local rock formation. It is home to a 50 litre still which is named Isabella and a second 200 litre still named Amelia. They are named after two great female adventurers, Isabella Lucy Bird and Amelia Earheart.
Campfire Gin is an award-winning small batch gin which pitches camp on the boundary between a classic gin and a contemporary one. It includes ten carefully selected botanicals which include, juniper, fresh orange zest, coriander, orris root, angelica, rooibos, fresh grapefruit peel, lavender, hazelnut and a rich coffee cherry. These are then distilled with the UK finest wheat spirit. The end result is a gin which firstly leads with a citrus note alongside juniper, then has a rich middle and ends sweetly building up with each sip taken.
As they like to say at the distillery Under stars, by a campfire, a gin was born.
